Sonoma Coast Living

Sonoma Coast Living is owned by Thera Buttaro, Broker.

In 1977, Thera obtained a California Real Estate License and began specializing in real estate sales, including residential, land and investment property. In 1979 she moved to Sonoma County, where she continued her successful real estate career until 1983.

Sonoma Coast Living OfficeIn the late 1980’s, longing to live along the spectacular Sonoma Coast, Thera and her husband Don built their home in the Bodega Harbour. At that time, Thera continued to fly (sometimes seven days a week) all over the United States and Canada. Throughout her career in the computer industry, she maintained her real estate license with the dream of specializing in coastal properties along the Sonoma Coast.

By the early 1990’s Thera and Don vowed to spend more time together and develop their own business. In 1992, Thera and Don started Bodega Bay & Beyond, Bodega Bay’s most successful vacation rental company. Within a short amount of time, she became very active in real estate sales. It was then that Thera set forth her plan to have her own independently owned and operated coastal real estate sales office. In 1999, she built the contemporary office building located at 575 Highway 1, now shared by Bodega Bay & Beyond.
